The Queen sago (Cycas rumphii) is one of the two plants in the Hartman Prehistoric Garden that is moved indoors in the winter because it cannot tolerate frost. It is from southeast Asia and is usually found close to the ocean. It is widely planted in tropical and subtropical areas as its elegant shape makes it a desirable ornamental.
