Unlike many of the other plants with yellow, daisy-like flowers, zexmenia does not need full sun in order to blossom. It forms a clump of stiff stems no more than two feet tall, and blooms all summer long. The tolerance for drought, lack of invasiveness, and long bloom period make zexmenia a desirable landscape plant.
